Why do you need Criminal Record (Police check)?

Criminal Record in order to be granted for the work permit for foreigner/ Vietnamese, apply for Visa to other countries from Vietnam, completing the immigration or reside procedures in a country, foreigners who are or have been residing in Vietnam must apply for a criminal record for the time that they residing in Vietnam.

*Note: There are Criminal Record No.1 and No.2 for different circumstance, please contact Sunviet for more detail information.

How to apply for Criminal record in Vietnam?

Option 1: Full procedure, present at The Justice department with Sunviet staff

The Procedure:

1. The personal information form (Sunviet will send you later)
2. Your original passport and the temporary residence card (If any)
3. Temporary residence registration (Giấy đăng ký tạm trú) which was issued by police station in the area that you are staying in Vietnam (Original)
   4. Confirming date and time to present at The Justice department with Sunviet staff

Processing time:  3 weeks – 1 month from the apply date

Service fee: USD70/ 1p

Option 2: Lack of procedure, no longer staying inside Vietnam

The Procedure:

1. The personal information form (Sunviet will send you later)
2. Scan of passport information page and the last Vietnam visa or temporary residence card (If any) – Send to Sunviet email

Processing time:  3 weeks – 1 month from the payment date

Service fee: USD320/ 1p

*Note: No require of present at The Justice department, clients can order this service even staying outside Vietnam

*Note: For using Vietnam Criminal Record in another country (Not in Vietnam), you will also need to do Notarized translation into English, and need to stamped Foreign affair stamp: +USD50 (For these 2 extra services)
